There wasn't a total black out in the media, it was more of a white wash. CTV was also reporting in Quebec, and the piece aired there on the East coast was much more revealing. It was up yesterday for streaming on CTV's site.



I haven't uploaded any of my footage yet, but I got like 5 seconds of air time on that clip above.

john for once you need to can it, we knew someone who was totally harassed by CoS to the point that she committed suicide, her death was vauge and unclear ... the officers at niagra falls said she jumped but there were never any witnesses, so don't judge unless you know the facts, even if mark is a little fringe he has personal reasons to be there

CoS is unlike other religons because once you join they have your ass, it's a little like hotel california

That protest looked more like a bunch of people headed to a costume party just waiting for the bus. A few signs? Where was the energy... the passion? Protest should be ground shaking. It should demand attention and debate.

You show that sort of sympathy by making a joke of this situation?

That's a pretty odd way to show support man, or chances are it's more than likely you'd rather just get a cheap laugh then actually know what you're talking about.


It's true, there's probably alot more to it then the COS, but there are a number of signs that clearly point to foul play...her death was never clearly proven, as was swept under the rug. Police didn't want to help, no one did.

What's weak is how easily you slam these people for going out for a cause they believe in and being an active member of their community, simply because they're "20-something's" and dressed in questionable garb.

When's the last time you did anything of the sort to make your voice heard?

Street demonstrations like this are a privledge to be a part of, there are countries that simply don't allow this sort of dissent, but instead of being thankful or helping improove the situation where you may see the flaws, you just complain about it on your high horse.


I also like how you're aware of their drug habits, though you probably do more coke than a majority of those kids combined.

Actually she's squirming about quite nervously, and makes a baseless unconfirmed accusation completely diverting from addressing why people were there in the first place...the only person she pwned is herself, but I can see why you got it mixed up. It's kinda like what you do when you take something of a serious nature and constantly can only look at it through the eyes of a cynic...let me know when you're sick of stewing in your own bs, maybe then we can actually have a conversation...it's been a while.

It's exciting that the youth can be involved for exposing such a misleading organization, and ofcourse there may be a number of loose ends that need tying up, but I guess cheap jokes are your top priority, it's so easy to critisize from your pedestal I s'pose.

Unfortuantely I lost my footage, and the little footage online seems to be in the afternoon when everything was already dying down, but when I was there filming and asking some pressing questions before CTV showed up, there was alot of noise and it was anything but lacklustre.

By all means don't take my word for it...but don't dare say nobody is motivated enough to DO something when you yourself more than likely couldn't be bothered to come out in the first place.

Maybe it's not that much of a concern to you, well if that's the case, why waste your time making a critique here?

It's a concern to me, but I was busy playing medic and couldn't find enough time to make the 30 hour drive. You never got any criticism out of me for the protest. What you got out of me was an opinion based on the presented footage. You received no snotty highhorse remarks from this fellow.

I realize you're not the only one that feels this way, what can I say, it takes me a minute to read a rough screen full of text, if someone can't be bothered to do a few minutes of reading before engaging in this sort of debate, they're probably better off not posting in the first place.
