I'm taking it that your interest in this university is purely superficial because someone who was seriously interested in attending the school would not be consulting fnk.

The likelihood of you receiving a well-informed response coming from someone who has PERSONALLY ATTENDED and completed a degree at Oxford in the field in which YOU are interested, on fnk is minimal if not zero. I don't see how that isn't common sense to you.

If the internet is how you want to find out about Oxford, then facebook or blog-searches would serve you better. Or just go to the damn university website.

Oxford? Yeah, if you have a doctorate degree and get accepted as a Rhode Scholar then it's all good. Otherwise it's expensive and plus smaller colleges are better to get your grad/undergrad at anyways. I wanna apply to be a rhode scholar once I get my PH.d, when I grow up...

thats what alot of people say and it may be true but having an elite school like oxford cambridge or harvard behind you is like having a gold plated resume

It also costs 10x as much (approx) as a UK/EU citizen for a foreigner to goto school there.
