Otherwise CL is pretty much it.

There's a couple of Rental Guide places, but they'll cost like $80 and you're not necessarily gonna find much better than what's on craigslist...

besides CL you can try och101, or somethingl ike that...Off Campus Housing 101, aimed for students but basically just at that income level.

Transglobe. They own a lot of the buildings in New West. I called them and they were super-nice. I just told them what I was looking for and they told me what was available and set up an appointment for me. The buildings are well-maintained too, with new appliances, etc.

Never mind the "pay-for services".

You'll find the best places walking around an area. They usually don't advertise. Just a sign in a window.

go to the area you're looking in and grab the local papers, they usually have apartments advertised in the classified section

Actually that guy posted the same ad on craiglist and I was laughing at his CL ad, it was slightly different in wording and worsely put.

oh yeah, the room i found on there is fantastic because of the building facilities.
rooftop garden beside the indoor pool, encased in glass with a jacuzzi and a sauna with a full gym.

so nice.
i'm going to decide by tomorrow.
