Pros also know that exit rows and the last row don't (usually) recline - pros know always book the 2nd last row window or aisle because the last 2 row middle seats are always the last to fill up!

i was in a reclining exit row last week back from phoenix on us airways

heh that sucks.

I've never been stuck in a middle or aisle seat. A good 90% of the time I am on the leading edge of the Wing.

The Seats won't recline much in the rear if it's a narrow-body aircraft (757, A320, A319, 737) usually. On the larger wide-body aircraft you have a better chance of reclining seats. (767, 747, A330, A340 etc)

^ Both times I got screwed and dreaded the middle seat while boarding I ended up scoring aisle seats! Couples who travel together and book window + aisle in hopes that they won't get a middle person are aweeeeeeeesome...FOR ME!
