Guys, this is the first time I've been jazzed on a golf season in years.

I think there was this story in Leslie Nielsen's book Stupid Little Golf Book written by Bill Clinton, talking about how he was playing a pro-am game alongside Neilsen and two pros, and at one point Clinton goes to the ball washer, washes a couple of balls and puts them in his pocket for later use. Then Nielsen comes up to him and asks him,

"Excuse me Mr. President, but what do you have in your pocket?"

Clinton replies, "Oh, it's golf balls."

Nielsen nods contemplatively, and follows up with, "Now tell me, Mr. President, is that anything like a tennis elbow?"

my 3 wood is a callaway warbird from like 95..... I've tried like all those new fancy ass clubs and I still think it's the shit

used to play competitively .. and caddied n' whatnot. <- that's the best 12 yr old job ever. specially when rich people tip phatty.

i hate long irons and never play them so they are out of my bag almost entirely.

I love golf and I'm not afraid to say it. Plus, Caddyshack is a pure comedy classic (not the sequel, mind you). It's up there with Mel Brooks' finest works. Actually, if you hate golf, Caddyshack is probably even better. They take the piss out of it. Rodney Dangerfield is the man.
