I've just finished reading Michio's "Hyperspace." (great book)
The true nature of humanity is peace. Unfortunately, there is a constant barrage of death, murder, and rape on TV that conditions us the feel like caged animals. The real terrorists are the leaders in our government that hoard control and allow poverty and crime to flourish in our communities, creating fear in our souls.

what you say about the constant barrage may ring true, but the stuff about human nature being peace is a load of crap. if human nature was peaceful, where did the "terrorists" that started all this come from? what made them change from their would-be peaceful nature? tv?

human nature is a whole spectrum of things, including love, friendship, honestly, and loyalty, AS WELL AS, jealousy, hatred, greed, and all the bad stuff that comes with that. to push responsibility for worlds atrocities and unjustices onto the government and tv is simply a copout. imo.
