Viewing for all the shit starts Thursday.

All sorts of bikes! lol bikes! Im going to go check out the viewing on Thursday or something to see how many road bikes there are, it seems to be mostly mountain bikes but who knows.

Like I mentioned, elsewhere, I'm still in the mood for getting a vintage street cruiser, rather than a mountain bike.
I mean, after the hours I put in, the last thing I want to be doing on the weekend is slogging my sorry ass up and down a mountain!

I'll take my chances on the swap meet, under the Burrard Bridge.

I'm picturing long hair, leather jacket, yet somehow well groomed.

Anyways, I just went and looked at everything, but the girlfriend wasn't really interested so I'm going back tomorrow to paw through the bikes in an attempt to find roadbikes that may interest me.

If anyone is interested in going on Saturday or Sunday let me know, I can give you a lift but there are only so many bikes I can fit in my car....

I believe i heard on tv that Saturday is dedicated entirely to bikes bc they have so many, and Sunday is for everything else.

ok, so after spending 4 hours there......

Really good bikes (that would fetch over a couple grand on craigslist) could be had for decent prices.

Everything else was severely inflated by idiot buyers. Bikes that would be $20 garage sale pick ups were going for $200. Not even name brand, or old school cruisers....just real junker bikes.

If it had a name brand, it would fetch more than twice what it's worth. If I had my bike there I could have auctioned it off for twice what I paid for it on craigs. So much for trying to find deals today :-\

Yeah, I think on thursday is was front of the 24. Besides the garbage bikes, there were tons of canadian tire/sport chek specials which were going for even more than retail. seriously people, do a bit of research. Just because a full suspension brodie goes for $800, the supercycles full suspension bike next is not worth the same.

There was nothing I saw that I wanted in the general goods section, but was thinking of still going tomorrow; needless to say, I'm not anymore.
