There was a sign up at my building before the beginning of the month, but it was only up for a day.

Places in my building go very fast.

i took off after waiting for 20 mins. didn't even get in to see the place/meet anyone

ehh, it's pretty easy to find a 1 bedroom downtown, though you're more likely to find the good ones through word of mouth or walking around.

two bedrooms though? That's a whooole other ballgame. i know someone looking who only finally found one last month on the 28th. talk about stressful!

yeah I'm hoping for a word of mouth for a good one, hence the post. We want a modern building, or a large apt in a cement older building. And would love in-suite laundry as well (obviously)
we can easily afford whats on the market, but competition is hard and it's all about being the first people there.

I'm in a nice 1 bdr with a great view that costs $1140.. Pretty spacious, but might be a bit low on storage space for two people.

Sunstar Realty Ltd. - Vancouver Property Management and Real Estate Brokerage Firm Since 1994 has really good listings especially if you're looking for a 2 bedroom but they go really quickly.
Me and my boyfriend are trying to find a loft to rent but we don't want to live in gastown and we'd like it to be in the $1200-1600 price range so we're having a really difficult time.

Does anyone know any other renting sites aside from craigslist, homebase, and househunting.ca?
