Well folks it seems that Apex is back on...
So we've changed the date to Aug 23rd, 2008 out of respect for the many smaller production companies involved. All other information will remain the same.

Thank you all in advance for helping to make this possible!

I'm throwing a party in the woods with my good friends Ryan Ross, Mr. Dave, Mikey & the one and only Bevvy Swift. It's going to be a free show or perhaps by donation to cover the costs of sound and transport.

We'll be doing one stage with Glitch Hop, Dub step, & Breaks.

We've got room for two more.

If your in, this thread is for constructive and positve reinforcment ONLY!!! Throw up any ideas you have and we'll see if we can make this work.

P.S. if you have a truck, trailor or even some sound that you may be able to help out with throw it up.

It's time to bring it back to the roots!!!

^^^ pretty sure his idea is based around numerous promoters coming together to give back to the party people for FREE, like apex USED to be!

i'd say it was the same idea as apex except that tickets got up to $30 last year???

I remember in 2001, there was supposed to be an anti-Apex party called The Pinnacle Project, out near Squamish.

Then angry phone calls from Gablehouse took place and the party was cancelled.

So all the crews that were gonna be involved in Pinnacle broke into Apex and threw a stage in there.

First ever renegade stage at Apex. Ever since then they've claimed to have them, but they're hardly renegade considering they pay a fee and are promoter-sanctioned.

Anyways, renegade parties rule. First thing you need, however, is a venue.

Second thing you need is to not do too much of the planning on public forums that police are known to frequent.

I was supposed to play at that. Then I got the phone call that it was canceled. I got pissed off, turned off my phone and went to bed. When I woke up there was a bunch of panic messages telling me they were breaking into apex and I had to get there.

Half the fun is getting to these type of shows, so check points are a must:P I have no problem paying for over-priced draft either to help support the costs.
