You don't just get put on ignore lists for showing up. You gotta work on it man!

Here are some helpful tips:

- When "flamed", don't try and pass it off with some self-deprecating humour, or ignore it entirely. Get furious, and switch into attack mode with vigour. Your dignity has been challenged!

- Be completely unaware of any failings, or, if you are aware of them, pretend you are not (bonus points: Accuse others of things you are regularly guilty of!)

- Conspiracy theories? A sure-fire hit! If you can't think of any cliched theories to latch onto, be creative and make up your own! Then get pissed when people accuse you of trolling/attention seeking.

- Never, EVER give up the fight against those who oppose you. Ever. Seriously. The true victor is he or she who gets the last word in, or, failing that, replies over and over, until the end of time itself.

- When all else fails, an emotional goodbye can be a real tear jerker ( just never forget the previous rule.. )

Your average forum goer hates having to think - they come here to talk about shoes and where the next party is - so they will retaliate viciously should you accuse them of having a moral conscience. If you continue to display human compassion and rational thought, they will accuse you of being "holier than thou". Don't worry, they aren't religious in any way. Complicit ignorance merely fears any other state of being. If you continue to bring up social issues and maintain an opinion on them, you'll find yourself on plenty of ignore lists in no time. When I quit stalking my ex girlfriends I didn't go through their garbage for another 15 days in a vain attempt to reconnect with them.
