mom and i have a trip planned because our days off land together during the fest after which we plan to traumatize calgary in ways only we can.
we're trying to decide which of these to go to:

tinhorn creek is the bomb son.


Its hard to find unless your part of the club. If you have a wine chiller and you're a grown up (excludes me) I recommend joining that club. the cold beer and wine above thriftys at mariner and austin in coquitlam. Has the 2004 oldfields collection merlot it is very good, i spent 30 bones on it and it was worth every penny.

Also they have this dope ass pinot noir, its very tasty.

im going to bed but the point of this is, tinhorn creek is the bomb as far as I'm concerned.


Never been on a fraser valley wine tour, next time i have a wifey im going to do that.

we're driving up early in the AM on the 9th so we can make the chocolate and wine pairing and from there we'll see where our finances take us.
my girlfriend from australia is coming with us too! yes chris, THE FRIEND, is coming and spending a couple days away on the ranch with me.

not sure there's a fraser valley wine tour, since i don't believe the fraser valley is home to many vinyards....
i do know we carry tinhorn creek in our regular shelf stock though.
we have a much better selection than most other gov booze shops.

i'm learning that i really really don't like tannin, most of my favorite wines now are unoaked, aged in stainless steel. anything citrus, green, very crisp and fresh otherwise i'll pass.
ps i'm a chick.

i'm becoming a big fan of australian chardonnay or pinot's and new zealand sauv blancs.
