Going to Italia

Ok here is another one, Should I bring my macbook or not? do I risk bringing it and not be able to fit it in the safe? It's a 13" macbook. Yes, No, Maybe?

Unless you where going to live somewhere for a while (school/work) I seriously wouldn't risk it. Internet was actually pretty cheep in Italy from what I remember (except Venice and small towns) If your just on a travel trip/vacation, youll be way to busy checking places out etc. I still havnt found time to email everyone about Berlin, italy, Spain, and ireland. However I might suggest the ipod touch.

Not all places charge pizza by weight. In Europe you either order a whole pizza for yourself or in Italy you would tell them how big/small of a slice you wanted and they would weight it all together. Thing is tomato slices hold a lot of water making them really heavy :(

on a cruise ship? ya it would be fine in the safe, but internet is insanely priced onboard.

gelato and pizza in italy are incredible and cheap!!
trains in italy are awesome...so cheap and very accessible
I went in the scorching heat to florence and rome so i didnt appreciate them as much....but florence is beautiful and rome is a must see
pompeii is really cool sight to see the history there and ppl actually frozen in feared expressions, still over this time..its crazy to see...and still beds in perfect shape
naples- ghetto and sketchy for a young girl but soooo worth it...its like a scene from godfather...thats where i got my truest italian experience without tourits everywhere
venice- awesome place, 2 day max..once uve seen it , uve seen it
pisa- tower worth checkin out but i only stopped there for 2 hours between trains
and finally...my all time favorite place in italy...cinque terra! the most beautiful place i stayed in rimmogera......highly reccomend it...and the hike between all 5 lil towns is awesome

hey man, amazing.

- remember that there is no such thing as "first come, first serve" in italy. if you are waiting to get on a bus people will get right in front of you, even if you were there first.
- italian women dress up for everything...breakfast, food shopping, whatever.
- waiters won't bring ya the check...unless you ask for it.

^ LOL it was the British who invented the mannerism to cue. Youll find that anywhere in Europe except the UK, after a few weeks youll harden up and push your way through.

Just got back from the best 2 weeks EVAR!!!
Fell in love with Venice and did not wanna leave. :(

Flying back from Italy on my B-day was loooooong!!! Longest B-day ever hahaha.

Landed yesterday at 5:00p. Tried to get some sleep but my internal clock is still set to Italy time, so it's like 1PM in the afternoon. even though it's 5am here.

Got so many pics (about 4 gigs) to go through before I post. Stay tuned, should get a bunch of em up periodically throughout the week.
