I've read a lot of speculation on a few local blogs that the fire might have been started by a flipper who realized he was going to get totally fucked upon completion of the project.

"The developer of this project is a realtor. He is not a big company like a Bosa, Polygon or an ONNI, etc. He is a realtor wanting to try his hand at development. I would be worried if he had cost over runs. Does he have the money to finish it or does he walk away like what happened at River Bend, H & H, Garden City and the Sophia, leaving presale buyers out of luck? I love watching fires/chaos type shit... me and my friend were driving in coquitlam and we saw the smoke and ripped it to surrey to watch it... pretty cool shit... the fire kept hopping the street and approached a few houses at one point.... the construction crane was on fire too and they were worried it was gonna collapse...

yes i know i need a life, but i love watching fires haha

if there's traffic because of a car accident, it better be worth the look if everyone's slowing down. In the same breath I hope no one got hurt, but for wasting my time I'd like to see some cool wreckage.
