Prices of tickets to the 2010 Olympic games

I'd like to see a hockey game with Team Canada playing but it doesn't look like it's going to be cheap.

If I save up now i might be able to get one ticket for the medal round games.

And $175 for the nosebleed section at BC Place for the opening ceremonies?

I don't know how the 'average' person are supposed to afford these tickets.

Simple, don't take your girlfriend to a Coliseum rave and you've got enough to go to the ceremonies. Somehow kids still pay $100+ for those and most of the people at those parties aren't even 19 yet.

BC Place vs Bird's Nest.

I am not looking forward to the comparisons :(

I wish I was smart enough to have seen the prices they were charging earlier this year instead of now.

I would have taken the money, flew to Bejing and seen something truly 'once in a lifetime'

It is sad to know that those kids probably wouldn't even care to see an event but buy a ticket for whatever rave it going on that weekend instead.

They are expensive and I can't bid for tickets because I'm not sure what my schedule will be that time of year..hopefully from working with Vanoc during the olympics they can get me into something for free. I've been wanting to get tickets for the daily medal ceremonies, those are always tearjerkers.

yeah and bc place, it's no bird's nest..how embarassing!

If the Bird's Nest was in Vancouver I think it would take up the entire Downtown Eastside.

Well that is one way to rid the issues we have there!

what's stupid is that you aren't even informed of what tickets you've been given, instead you're automatically charged for any they provide you from your "list".

im just gonna stomach the drive to a mountain and get an eyefull of top class snowboarding. i can watch the games on tv. unless you know who is who by numbers, hockey is usually less entertaining live to me. and since i dont know whos number is who when its coming to these teams, it will be pointless.
