it seems to me that "the system" that a lot of people rail against has been very beneficial to you. you defend a lot of those systems quite regularly. i know you do that because it makes sense to you and not because you're "sheeple" or whatever inane word is being used now but you couldn't be more inside the box if you tried, imo (which is derived from your rare long posts and especially your political and philosophical comments).

i can't think of a time where "the system" has ever explicitly benefited me over anyone else really. i haven't really had many hand outs in my life, if any. most of the viewpoints on fnk are "inside the box" left-wing and usually i'm trying to provide the logic behind the opposite viewpoint.

i wasn't talking about handouts. it would probably take a while for me to be really clear about what i mean but you are basically a young urban professional enjoying the fruits of "the system". much more than me anyway. the priorities and philosophies of "the system" are very much in line with your priorities and that benefits you greatly.

i have 2 pictures representing what i do which is a huge part of who i am, so symbolically i have 2 pictures of what i "look" like. i would understand your criticism if i had some logos from something that had nothing to do with me. but it's a pretty weak point anyway because we BOTH advertise all the time with our clothes or posts or other interactions. and i would say you advertise unrelated companies/logos with your clothes way the fuck more than i do with anything else as almost all the logos/banners/colours that i fly are related to me and my endeavours directly.

i think the definition of what "the system" is varies greatly from person to person. my definition of "the system" doesn't include anything about 27 year old technical nerds with steady jobs. you make it seem like im gaming something unfairly or negatively but im not understanding what.

I have had the thought that if we ALL stop and say NO it would work. That is never going to happen. We all have "responsiblities" and have been conditioned to be responcible to our commitments.

Look what the hippies accomplished... Nothing (socialy). That was probly one of the largest unified movments in our time. It will never change. Just more War. What was the dirty 30's followed by? World War II. But hey I guess machines will be building everything by then so we'll still be broke with no jobs.

i can understand how it can seem that why but that's not my point. what i view as "the system" has made your life easier because your priorities and philosophies are fairly analogous to "the system's" priorities and philosophies. because of that there is a lot of infrastructure in place for you and you seem to work very well within "the system" and i think that mutually benefiting relationship has been pretty good for you. because of this you seem to have a lot of sympathy for "the system" (as i would define it) and take little interest in much outside of that. you're a young white male living a pretty successful young white male life. so i said you were kind of a whore. i can understand why that's a boat someone in your position wouldn't want to rock very hard.
