the public on public transportation

ok I don't know if it is just me having a terrible day but all of these three things happened to me today and im like pissed!

number one I was sitting on the back of the bus and then when a bunch of ppl got off i proceeded to jump to a more comfy seat so i threw my bag on the seat ahead and jump in and this old lady goes "what are you doing you knew I was walking towards this seat- you stole it!!" and im like I didnt see you SORRY!

number 2 I'm on the bus and there was no one on it so I had my feet dangling off the side, then someone needed to get past so I tucked my feet in( and they were on the seat- i had every intention to dangle them once more but I forgot i guess) anyway I see this man blatantly staring at me and my boots for about a minute so I pretend to ignore him even though hes looking at me like a hawk..finally he goes "excuse me those seats are meant for sitting in not putting your feet on I dont wanna go to the dry cleaners etc" and im like "well that may be true but I don't think its any right of yours to be telling me where I can and can't put my feet but THANKS!

number 3...I know how the new back doors work, u touch the door I do it everyday for the past few weeks...so Im getting off the bus and it will not open i keep trying and ppl are yelling at me to touch it-im touching it..so finally i yell to the bus driver excuse me the door is not working!! and hes like YES IT IS!! and im like NO ITS NOT! and hes like YES IT IS! and i keep trying..and then finally i go to the front "the door is not working for me- THANKS!)

there arn't that many things that are wrong with my car, and non of them make my drive unpleasent unlike all the things that courtney mentioned plus all the other stuff in the other thread that would make a ride on public transportation very unpleasent.

i think ash is talking more about what I came to realise a long time ago: that cars are not an investment, but a money pit. they depreciate from the moment you buy them, and although they are a convenience, they are not a necessity for most.

my car got vandalaized. i need new tires. etc etc. everything costs $.

i have far better things to spend my money on when i can walk everywhere and i have a very expensive waste of money sitting in my underground.

well I have enough clients outside the downtown core, and even the city of Vancouver that I do not wish to ever have to take public transport to their offices.
