I've always been a huge Zappa fan, and have heard sporadic rants of his, here and there, but this is the BEST I've seen/heard him!

I must admit I've never really gotten into his music (hey! I tried!) but I've always thought that he was a fascinating personality. Hell, Zappa *totally* roasts the other guys in this clip and stands by his points throughout the entire debate. Amazing!

Intelligently written music and excellently performed. You can't even pin a style on him. It's kinda like rock, but more like jazz and elements of everything else from disco to jug bang to rhythm n' blues... Pure genius.

^ dont know bout that one, claypool is definitly a pioneer of music. but not even close to a tie with zappa, my opinion....thats not possible. the ammount of work he did not only with music, but with freedom of speech, politics, video and audio technology, and independant recognition. I mean for fuck sakes the guy made 72 albums, and wrote almost every note that was ever played by his band.
