Hey people!!

Here's the dilly. Not sure who here has heard of Versus Wednesday at Space Lounge, but here's the deal. Just trying to finish up some art work then I plan to list this and pay for a weekly event listing, but I need to call on the Dj's ASAP.

Anyways, we are looking for DJ's for the following event.

BATTLE OF THE HOUSE BEATS
Every Wednesday at Space Lounge for your listening pleasure and for the title Space DJ

Space is the only place where we bring you battle of the house beats by the top and best DJs in Vancouver.

Like the Iron Chef competition aim for the most talented, versitial, original, out of this world chef, VERSUS is aim for the most talented, advanced, funkiest, craziest, out of this world DJ wanting to display their skills and talent, laying the sickest tracks down reving those beats in your ears to fight for that acclaimed title.

The venue is held at Space Lounge from 9pm till late every Wednesday.

Judging will be taken into consideration of the following:

Mixing
Track selection
Originality
DJ performance
and most importantly....crowd response!

So as a friend or fan of one of the competing DJs, the most important thing you can do is come to Space Lounge with hordes of friends and fill the dancefloor! There is nothing worse for a DJ than playing to an empty room so get down there and get down there early and show what kind of fan / friend you are and the love and support you can show.

Honestly, if peeps are feeling it, anything goes. But big room tunage is tough to sell in a lounge.

Yes Kraig, It's all up to the DJ... It's versus. As far as I'm concerned if peeps are feeling it, why not? I'm all about keeping it different and interesting.

the only problem with the space lounge is that it's supposed to be a lounge, the acoustics are terrible.
You have to yell to talk to someone because the electronic is too loud

that and stripper poles.. When I went there, Ryan PROMISED me he was going to get on the pole. Broken promises!

:) yeah, it comes from being picked on as a child. i'm naturally mean. most of the time it's reactionary due to some thing else in my life that is pissing me off, more than the actual post itself.
