tomahawk, yeah. wallflower had a decent homemade burger too actually. Tomahawk still takes it tho. even Red Robin deserves a mention actually (yeah yeah I know, it's a huge chain but they are damn good)

im not a huge vera's fan either but it definitely ranks higher than whitespot which has completely fallen off in the last 2 years when they dropped their "bc burger" and introduced some generic bacon cheddar burger.

vera's can be good but it's purely condiment-based and depends on what toppings you get, also they probably have the best rings.

best spot downtown is roxy burger, best chain downtown is red robin whos royal burger is amazing, best chicken burger in vancouver is red onion, albeit all the way on 41st. fatburger is best "fast burger".

if i can't order an egg on my burger the spot isn't even worth my time.

I don't want to get stoned for being the only vegetarian in this thread, but Vera's and Roxy burger are tops for veggie burgers FYI... and I'm not vegan so I do sweat the extra cheese.

Vera's is pretty much the worst burger in the city IMO.

Everything is just to overloaded with junk and in the end it's a competition to see who can come up with the most disgusting looking burger.

Modern Burger rates high, but I also enjoy the lamb burger at Bayside.

Honestly, best toppings in town. Screw Vera's to hell.

I enjoy getting a double Splitz with bacon and two kinds of cheese. Sloppiest burger I know of but worth every frikking drop.

yeah the lamb burger there is damn good! too bad the fries/salad/menu is not up to par with that burger. (except the nachos - they are some of the best in town)

btw, feenie's used to have the win of burgers - $20ish and you got a slab of foie gras on your greasy cheeseburger!
