CBC News - British Columbia - Man loses testicle after attack



Police in Langley, B.C., revealed Tuesday that they are hunting for a female suspect in a violent and bizarre attack on a young man.

The attack happened in early September when the victim, 22-year-old Anthony Clark, says he was walking on 200th Street in the Brookswood area of Langley.

A woman walked up to him and, without saying anything, kicked him with great force in the crotch, Clark said.

He was admitted to hospital after the attack and had to have a testicle surgically removed.

The recovery has been extremely painful, Clark told CBC News.

Too embarrassed to tell police
"Sleeping was incredibly painful," he said. "And even with the morphine and the Tylenol 3s, it had no effect whatsoever on that."

He was so embarrassed about the attack, Clark said, that he did not report it to police for four weeks.

Langley RCMP said they would like to speak to other victims, if there are any.

"If there has been other victims, we are urging them to come to the police station and report it so that maybe we can get a better idea and maybe fit all the pieces together," Const. Amanda McGowan said.

The assailant is described as being in her early 20s, about five feet seven inches tall and 130 pounds. She had brown hair.
