I haven't had a weekend where I wasn't doing something in about 3 months.

Audion show was rad last weekend, I heard the Work Less Party party rocked out on Friday, Went to Gorg-o-mish a week ago, weekend before that was Hallowe'en, there was Evil Dead: The Musical as well, I actually went to a real techno rave about a month ago... yeah, there's plenty to do in this city. If you're bored you're boring.

go to the grind, grab a hot cocoa and do a crossword puzzle or go for a drive through the pretty neighbourhoods of the lower mainland.

Vancouver has unbeatable climate and nature though. And in BC in general, we have phenomenal mountain scenery.

if you're not concerned with a spectacular view and weather, there's places where there's way more to do.

Vancouver isn't bad though. You could come up here to Kamloops, that'll learn you for complaining about nothing to do.

Check out what's out there in our city by looking at even craigslist. Maybe because Toronto is a big city, it's easier to find events this way, but I have found opportunities to have french conversations with people via craigslist posts. There are people out there who are offering to exchange their skills for yours, and who knows, maybe you can teach them something in return for something you'd like to learn.

For example, I've seen a couple ads of people looking to improve their english and offering their own mother tongue in return. This could be potential travelling opportunities for you. I am hoping to improve my french and help others learn japanese or english.

so, i'm saying something along the lines of, explore some hobbies in your city. Events/parties can only excite you for one night and then you're bored again.

There are very few cities I could live in aside from Vancouver.

NYC and SF really being the only 2 in North America I would even consider.

awe dude, why you gotta be such a debbie downer? you sound like someone's uptight and controlling gf. So much to do here, so little time... Vancouver's night life is like a tenth of what's going on around this city.

Mind you most of what I do is dine-out and occasional liquor/wine tastings. Look out for those, they're tonnes of fun.
