a 19 year old guy, that i've met a few times...and who knew a lot of the same people as i did, was a neighbour of my best friend...was a funny funny guy...was hit by a van while walking across the street.
the guy that hit him wasnt paying attention to what he was doing...
he wasnt even drunk.

chris was killed i think instantly.

so very sad.

i hate to be a bitch, but the reality is we were never safe doing anything. bad shit happens to good people all the time, the sad thing is alot of the times its not forseeable and in a moment everything can change. its just chance that things like that happen, and even worse is that probablity dictates that as we get older even more people that we know will be lost over senseless things. all we can do is hope that it dosn't happen to ourselves or our loved ones.....man im such a downer.

19 years is plenty of time to enjoy most experiences in life, he'd probably get bored and jump off an overpass at age 21, or something.

My friend was quite good friends with him as well. At first I thought he was driving drunk, or the person that hit him was.. but nope. I'm not sure, but i think that almost pisses me off more.

The guy wasn't being an idiot and driving home drunk or something, and he gets nailed by some guy that just isn;t paying attention.
I'm just waiting for the next person to get killed, raped etc, to be my sister or friend. It just keeps on getting closer and closer to home.
