I got a Nokia fone 4 Christmas from my parents and, I can't seem 2 get my voice mail 2 work. It says I have 2 have this password that my service provider should of gave me but, apparently my parents never got 1. I can't check my messages because of this!! :pissed: I tried calling *811 which is the helpline or something and it wuz no help. Any1 no what the hell I shoul do?!? This is sooo frustrating!!!

is fido you're service provider? yeah they like to do that, if you wanna find out you're password you can go to www.fido.ca and go to the place were it says log in to your account. there should be a little box on the left side of the screen that says "forgot your passwoprd?" put your phone number in that box and they'll text msg you with it.

if it's rogers, the default code for the voicemail is.. either.. 1234.. or 12345 (i can't remember which)

but if it's rogers.. try that, from there you should be able to change it to what you want.

or go bitch at them. that's always fun because they suck.

Your default password is usually the last 4 digits of your cell phone #.

My fone's through Rogers. I already tried the last 4 digits in my number and it didn't work. I think I'll have 2 go 2 the store. Damn fone companies!! :pissed:

if it's rogers, try either 1234 or 12345 (i can't remember if it's a 4-digit or 5-digit number) because that's what they use as the default password until you change it for yourself.

that's how my voicemail was. (it confused me at first too)

if that still doesn't work.. go bitch. who knows you might get free stuff or something.

It did work which is aweome!! Thanx c-TaRd!! :D But yeah some1 at my work has the exact same fone and they got this lil card thing with they're temporary password on it. I dunno fone companies suck! Sooo confusing! I'm just happy my voicemail's now working! :happy:

but yes, phone companies suck. especially rogers.. i'll warn you now.. NEVER change your plan online.. and also, they like to change little things on you (like if you have a text messaging pack, how many messages you get and stuff.. that kinda thing) without telling you..
