Question about Working under 4 hours.

I have a shift today from 3;15 to 4:45 as cashier.... wtf.. :P don't you get payed for 4 hours if you work under 4 still? hrmm

its standerd that they will but if you work at some smalll establishment they could jew you talk to your manager you should get payed for four anyway eat me hard and like it :moon:

My brother just said this...

"You get paid for 4 hours only IF you were called in to work on short notice... if they schedule you for 2 and you work it, you get paid for 2"

Check the labour relations website..

ideally they SHOULD pay you for 4 hours..

I know that if i go in for a two hour meeting my cheapskate work will only pay me for 2.

Yup thanks to Camble you can get paid for 2 hours...

Personly I'd tell my boss that I could not do it... gas money cost you more then what you finally get back.

yeah that right
If they schedule you for 2 hours you only get paid for 2 hours
and if they call you in or send you home early then they only have to pay you for 2 now, it used to be 4

yea... they've changed it to 2 hours instead of 4. pretty gay i think. i would NEVER go in and work for 2 hours..
wait.. our staff meetings are 2 hours. so pointless...SO pointless.

did u know students can work 7 days a week opnly 2 hour shifts...i was like...thats fucking STUPID! i keep gettin 3 hour shifts and sometimes 2...its so pointless

yes its manditory that u get paid for a full 4 hours even if u dont work a full 4 hours. If they jew u on ur pay cheque report them 2 like the working person thingie business thing
