:c-tard: Hi everyone! :c-tard: Just wanted to point your attention towards a new site...it’s a great idea, and a lot of fun:
Swappington's

Swappingtons is a site that deals in books, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, and Video Games! However, trades are done in POINTS rather than in cash! You can read about how the site works here There is also a FAQ page on the site, right here.

Swappingtons is run by Andrew Swappington IV, who also runs the well-liked sites DiaryLand, NotifyList, Pitas.com and SignMyGuestbook.com

The site is really cute, :) and a great idea (in my opinion :PartEkid: ), and you should all go check it out! Oh, and my user name on there is jeanie . If you end up signing up for your own Swappington's account, please credit me for the referral! I'd really appreciate it!

Thought it was something that some people would enjoy...It’s still fairly new, and the VHS and Video game parts were just added a few days ago, but it’s pretty happening already…..Have fun swapping! :):):)

realistic? not in my books.

I mean not to hate on your site here
but I can throw this old videotape in my trash and call it 10 points
or I can spend $3 mailing it to somebody and let them call it 10 points.

sorry, I dont think it would be something I would be into.

No problem if you're not into it.....

And it isn't MY site exactly, either.....hahahaha :)

You don't have to call it ten points...you get something in exchange that you'd rather have...like putting old videos toward some DVDs you want, etc. The whole trade-in concept.

been done. been bankrupt. lots of people been burned.

SwapIt.com: "So let me get this straight: 1) I send them a CD. 2) They give me useless "SwapIt Bucks." 3) They go out of business. 4) I get nothing. Great, sign me up! […] I believe this is the only dotcom that actually had people SENDING them product and they STILL couldn't stay in business."
