I went to Shine once and I doubt that I will go again anytime soon...there were so many weirdos there....disgusting, creepy looking guys who have the worst way of hitting on you (ex. surrounding you with their crew from all sides so that you're trapped)....and last time we were there the bathroom was flooded and the water was seeping to the dancefloor....

Mind you, I agree that it is a VERY nice looking club.....if only the crowd were a little more civilized....

Hmm...now that I read it, yes, yes it is.....but my experience with Shine was even worse than the typical "club" experience....

I will, however, probably go back there and give it another chance...it's a matter of circumstance, I believe, in which first impressions are made....=) Could've just been my mood that day.

word..i don't like the venue itself, the system isn't that good and its too crampt..also theres not that much in the way of lighting. i prefer sonar more as a venue, id have to say sonar is one of the best spaces in the city.

but big sexy funk...holy shit man its intense. last time i went there they had four mc's battling over everything from motown, bhangra, classic rock and breaks. it went off, the crowd there is tite alot of good looking well dressed people who know how to have a good time. We need more club nights like that in vancouver.

yeah..........shine is great........have been goin' there for awhile now.

and have only these past months started going there on sundays. i love the music, and the atmosphere.

i just wish i wasn't so broke ass.........or i would be goin' there all the time!!!
