romantic dinner anyone???

i'm always on the hunt for nice, classy joints to eat at.
and by eat at i mean eat at every once in a blue moon...

but the last one i went to was GOTHIC on Seymor...it was gorgeous, so if you're looking for somewhere to take that special other, i suggest there.

and if anyone else has any places they've been to and loved...let me...and everyone else...know!!!

^^ Exactly.

For quality and setting, The Teahouse is really nice. Its sister restaurant Seasons in the Park isn't bad either.

For super expensive/high end food, Bishops is good.

my top 3 hotspots:

lucy mae brown - 862 richards
the wild rice - right next to the lotus on pender
suehiro - at the delta pacific in richmond

there's probably a million others i've fancied, but those 3 stand out the most for me.

I definitely recommend Villa del Lupo on Hamilton St (and Smithe). Very quaint restaurant with great Italian food and a fab wine selection. It's actually in a 1903 Victorian-style home!

Il Giardino on Hornby is good too!
