My friend Omar wanted me to find some breakers for his rnb group's up coming music video, so I thought I'd give you guys the heads up:

The group is called SHADES OF SOUL. You may have heard their single on the beat, it's called "I wanna get with you tonight." Regardless if you have or not, take my word for it, their gonna be huge. They produce/write all their own material, and have the most amazing voices ever. I've been spoiled and have had ample opportunity to hear them, and their harmonies give me CHILLS I tell you! They've got some serious soul!!

Saturday, March 15th
Pure Dance Studio at 160th/Fraser, Surrey (I'll get the exact address up soon... I can't find my card anywhere...)

Bring headshot/resume if you have one, but if not don't worry cause it'll be filmed anyways.

They will be auditioning for 9 core dancers (who will have choreographed work) , but also some bboys/bgirls for spots as well. The theme of the video is "girls vs. boys." So we need some breakers that wanna BATTLE!!

Umm well??

I should specify that we need breakers and also just people that can bust out hip hop.... So it's not mandatory to be able to do like 50 windmills into a headspin.... but yeah... you've gotta be good. In my opinion, it's always about style though.

Hey guys, just an update:
So the audition is this Saturday, show up at like 3:30.
What's gonna happen is, you go in alone, and freestyle for like 20 seconds, then learn a quick combo with 4 other people (4 counts of 8) and perform it as a group. The combo is fairly simplistic. What's most important is performance quality;dance like your in a video you know??

Someone told me the song "get with you" was number 1 on the beat... can anyone confirm that?? I just don't listen to the radio, so I dunno...
