No I don't think you can do it.. I remember reading somewhere that option isn't available yet. (And I have trillianpro)
If it's msn, even connecting at different times won't work, I tried it when I got a new email addy and it just automatically readded everyone.. |

Do not run msn messenger and trillian. I did that one time by accident. My entire Msn listen jumped over 2 my friends MSN list.
Trillian is a great program, but its a bitch to setup and there are bugs. The most annoying is when you get a message. It will steal focus & jump to the message. Anyone that needs help w/ this program, pm me. |

^^ I don't know the exact settings right now.. but for starters, I have everything in one container. That way, it's easier to keep organized and I don't have a bunch of windows cluttering up my start bar at the bottom.
Just set the container up, everything goes in there automatically.. it's so convenient. =) If you have just regular messages, that might solve it. If you already use the container, just lemmeknow and I'll post some of my settings up. |

i use trillian at work and at home, so when i delete a contact at home, it gets re-added by my work install that doesn't know the contact has been removed. it must be storing some contact info client side... the bastards.
the way i solved the focus stealing issue is by having all of my services use icq style messaging. when i get a new message it blinks in the system tray until i open it. ain't no windows gonna happen unless I say so. |

Ahhh, okay I see how that would happen.. I only use trillian on my home comp so I don't encounter stuff like that.
Hahaha me too. I hate windows that just automatically open. It's annoying, especially if I'm away from my comp. Then when I come back there's all these windows. I have to keep them organized. I'm a freak. :P |
