fuck this virus or disease or whatever killing us humans now, is fuckin deadly. in richmond there are so many hongers that went back to hongkong during spring break and came back w/ sars.

apparently there was a women working in yaohan that was contaminated w/ it so whoever is planning to go to yaohan dont go for couple weeks just in case.

also the restaurant "SUN SUI WAH" in richmond also had an victim of sars so beware!!

its weird that this is coming out of me, but seriously, be aware of internet cafess, or movies, places that the air circulation is bad. fuckin scary how you can contaminate this bullshit disease through air.

yes im an asshole, but i dont want ppl to die, cuz this is a serious issue.

one more, my sister's friend's, FRIEND's family went back to hongkong during spring break, 4 of them lost their life......

you get a high fever, your throat starts aching.......i think basically like a bad fever.

i noticed ppl HARSH staring at ppl that are coughing in public (or restaurant), does NOT mean that all ppl coughing are contaminated w/ sars! but if they seem honger-ish and coughing...

I heard this:

First you would feel fever like symptoms (chills, high temperature etc...)

Then it would progress into chest pains and trouble breathing

It then becomes pneumonia, and if it get's there you're in trouble.

there's only one case of it in BC, and he's in isolation at VGH.
sure there's bound to be more cases with people travelling and all, but what are the chances of _you_ coming into contact with someone who has it?

it's a 3% death rate too, elderly and people with weakened immune systems

and the "symptoms" for SARS, those are the same symptoms for every other fucking disease
get a grip people.

So far one or two confirmed cases in BC. There's a few more people who they suspect, but nothing confirmed yet.

EVERYTHING IN ONTARIO AT THE MOMENT. Vancouver isn't even considered an "affected area" right now.

It's not airbourne either. Wash you hands, it's passed on through mucus and what not. So make sure people don't sneeze and cough on you!

Did you also know, more people die in BC from regular pnuemonia every year than have died from this??

Don't get so paranoid people. Be careful, but you're not all going to die because OMG YOU SAW AN ASIAN PERSON COUGH. Relax.. really..
Just be careful if you travel, or are around people who have recently traveled in asia.

Yo dude, calm yourself. If the majority of the people on here aren't as informed about you in regards to this disease, that doesn't make them "so fucking dumb"! Take it a easy, we don't all work in the medical field like you do. If you started talking about a mercedes-benz and were slightly off with your information I wouldn't fiend on the fact that I know more about mercedes than you and start throwing out insults. If anything, I'd be worried about the influenza which is supposed to hit us soon (what they thought this originally was, but that's been ruled out) We're supposed to have an epidemic soon, we're due for one! The last one killed 20 million people in total, and people get worried about this thing with only 62 deaths. Not their fault if they're uninformed, but if you are that uninformed don't go trying to scare everyone else with it.. Then it's just even more uninformed people scaring everyone else they know. I am actually more paranoid about getting slammed by a stupid street racer on my drive home than I am about catching a virus.

I think it is time I jack my SUV up 12 inches so I can cut off their heads when they slide under and hit my sidebar.
