My boyfriend and I got a Nintendo.

The oldschool one from when I was a kid, with Tetris (yeah!), SuperContra, Lifeforce and Ghosts and Goblins!!! All for $30. I'm stoked. We played Tetris till our eyes hurt last night.

Next step: Atari. But those fuckin things are nearly impossible to find.

Back when I worked for a TV show we needed to find one...so after trips to several Value Villages we had assembled all the componants...it was kind of a 'piece-by-piece' process...

i have an intellivision, and atari 2600, and a vic 20.

It's not that hard to find. Someone gave us the system and we had to buy the cords and controllers and games. But nearly any pawn shop has at least one system. We were in this game store in Burnaby and the owner said that he has literally hundreds of consoles, but only about 2 dozen games. (And that was the most we've seen in one place. (Fantastic Games, Willingdon and Hastings)

It seems that the systems are a dime a dozen but good games for a decent price are really hard to find.

Not I...I still remember when I was around 10 and my buddy got an Atari 2600 and we played Combat for hours upon hours...good memories...
