i have to disagree with everyone.

there could have been a penalty shot, but there didn't have to be one.

One thing I will agree on though is the refereeing of this game was sad to say the least. Especially the chubby MICK MAGOO!! I HATE THAT GUY, HE IS ALWAYS BIASED AG AINST THE CANUCKS!!

the only interpertation is that Magoo wasn't in view to see it. You can actually see Linden argue with him. The video replays show it though. Blah. Next game people!

ya but im view Magoo saw it, and knew the player had covered it, but being the dick that he is just didn't call the penalty shot.

My dad was ranting about the same thing..
At the beginning of the game, he was like "Ohh, shit.. Not McGeough, i HATE THT GUY!@$"

This referee is so biased against vancouver. Its ridiculous. You wonder what drove him to hate vancouver so much. Any chance he gets to hurt vancouver he will take.

That being bad penalty calls, bad offsides, face-offs u name it. I HATE THE GUY!!

If the ref didn't see it, he can't call it. and video replay can't reverse that (hand/puck in crease) call.

we got screwed over again....just like in game one....when the puck went in the net....but they called no goal.....god damn NHL.......trying to keep canadian teams from succeeding!!!!!!!!!!

um... the puck wasn't in the net in this case. if you had watched the replay you would have seen that it was nowhere close to being in.
