The one situation you've witnessed may not have had any reprocussions, but in some situations teachers are simply abusing what power they have over their students. The student, usually females, may feel intimidated or obligated to ahve sexual realtions with this person because they hold the power to fail or pass them. But I can't expect the average male to understand or even care about an issue like that, can I? At least judging from the responses so far.

I'm not a millitant feminist, but I have my share of bitter feelings/opinions towards males and I feel that they are justified by the things I've been through and the fact that I'm female (which is probably one of the biggest reasons I've had bad experiences with males). I have a low expectation of some PEOPLE in general, and males just seem to dissapoint me more often than females. So if that pisses you off do something about it to make me change my mind. I don't dislike males because they are males. If I dislike someone it's because they've given me a reason to. So cool your jets there buddy.
