Ripping encrypted DvD's?

How do I ripp this DVD I got from the videostore?
I have tried apps like Dr.DivX but that didnt work. help!! :)

apparently dvd::rip will let you rip them in linux.

read this learn how to do it right... fuck I hate shitty DivX ripped movies...

PS crop the movie so the black edges are gone... makes it encode a bit smaller, display on the screen bigger,,, and just is nicer all around

Most DVD players can. It should say on the player whether or not it does. If id dosnt say VCD on it then it dosnt play them.
