why doesnt everyone just stop being part of a lable and being yourself.....i mean you can dress like a goth and not be called a goth......imma kandi kid yet i wear no kandy ....its the mind set that i have that makes me a kandi kid....its just like religions as well......if everyone would just believe in a god of sum sort and not put organization around it it would make life alot better........but yea i just wanted to say that lables mean nothing.....be yourself....question authority

Geez, I don't know whether to laugh or wince at this post...

Thoughts...

I used to "be" a "goth"...as in, I wore all black, did the whole Robert Smith thing with my hair, listed to The Cure, Front 242, Sisters Of Mercy...yada, yada, yada...I wasn't death-obsessed, 'tho I did have a higher than average fascination of it...but people change over time...and while I've let go of that aspect of myself from a day-to-day perspective, it is still a part of who I am and I listen to the tunes of that day when the mood strikes me...

Beyond that, it strikes me as strange that Beki started this post is (I assume) somewhat reasonable seriousness, got offended when it turned somewhat comical and at least a little mean spirited, but then decided to do the same herself...the first way to get people to treat one with respect is to refrain from the activities that, in your opinion, drain your respect for others....

PS - Not trying to come down on ya babe...I'll even have a small gift for U in a few days when I return...just makin' a point...
