"50 Bourbon Street Pub"

Strolled in for the first time last night and it was bumpin. Cheap drinks (2.75 for Brasil beer), good food and a young crowd. Defnitely a place to check out and shoot the breeze with your comrades. Saw some folks I haven't seen in ages.

I've heard lots of good thing's about that place but have never been there, i think i'm gonna though. I'm getting sick of the cambie the people are to wierd. Need a new cheap place 2 drink.

how is bavaria anyways? never tried that... pretty cheap if its 2.75 a bottle! how much does the burbz sell stella for anyways?

its all about the cheapass pitchers at the bourban.... if you go with a buncha friends and pitch in 20 bucks each, thats pretty much 2 pitchers to yourself.... not bad at all! and the bourbon is a block from water street!

like before krafty kutz i drunk two pitchers to myself and had a shot and it was only 20 bones.

I've been going to the bourbon for over a year steady... in my opinion its the best place in vancouver to pre-drink.

Nothin gets your night goin like a boubon gonger!

Cheap booze is key!!! the only other bar that comes close is blarneystone... they'll charge you cover though and their drinks arent as cheap.

but that barvaria shit tastes weird ... like spicy brazillian piss... that's just my opinion.

i went for the first time a couple of weeks ago and freaking loved it.
i didnt know it closed at 12, and i didnt get there till like 11 or something, so next time im gonna head down there waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay earlier.

my buddies dad owns the bar and he just got a permit to stay open later like all the other bars, he's not gonna keep it open till 4am though.

The cambie is a shit hole last time was there we got kicked out for makeing a huge mess and writeing all over the tables. The bastards confiscated my paint pen. And some guy that looked like willie nelson almost knocked a candy maching over right on me but i got outta the way just in time. Oh and then i went into the allie to smoke a doobie and someone shot up heroin right in front of me.

reallly cheap beer, its a great place to go b4 hittin the clubs so u can get nice and hammered without having to buy those pricey club hi-balls. good crowd, usually good music, (top 40 if ur into that) but seating is kinda limited :S

The tables were all written all over before i just added on because i got mad that my drink fell through a hole in the table.

yah never been there but all my friends go on occasion. they tell me you gota show up at like 9 to even have a hope of getting in.

I've been going to the Bourban on and off for a long time and at this point I don't really like it anymore. I figure I can just hang at a friends house downtown and predrink for less. You can't smoke inside which is fair as non smokers shouldn't have to breathe my smoke but I still want to have a smoke with my beer.

Other than that I find the staff to be great and bar fights are fun to watch.
