Wow... awesome you two. I guess you found your rooftop?
I badly need to get some pictures done downtown, the old buildings, alleys, grafiti etc. makes for an awesome atmosphere. I think My favorite has to be the last two. I love the emphasis on the stairs contrasted with the round shape of whatever that is shes sitting in. And the last one, the background is great, I love how the focal point (chandel) is so close and off center, and the background is gorgeous and just barely out of focus. I really have to take some pictures with you Sammy, It's not easy to find really talented AND creative photographers all in one.

oops.. Forgot the first one :) The colours and shadows are fucking amazing... And that background is great.
I can't wait untill I get my camera, I'm going to make you my mentor babe. If you like it or not heehee.

kraig, i'd obbbviously love to help you out.
were you thinking photography or graphic design stuff or what? let me know! i'll help out any way i can and mike i totally agree with you...the lighting inthe first two pictures really turned out. it was pretty dark at that location and i wasn't even sure if 800 film would pick up enough light but it did! thanks -s.

Oh, leeside is a spot underneath hastings st., close to highway #1, it's a tunnel that has all kinds of skate ramps, graffitti, and hoodlums like myself doing stunts on bicycles, and that one pic kinda looks like it :)
P.S. not bad picatures either.

there's actually a big kaffufle going down between the city, bikers and skaters, it's actually an emergency response tunnel, and the residents are getting pissed about all the garbage and graffiti...so we'll see what happens. :S

yea...when we were there no one was there...we were expecting to have to ask ppl if we could interupt their skate time to take some fotos...two guys showed up just as we were finishing up...
it's a wikid local...but...i can see why there would be disputes...too bad. it's a nice set up down there
