night clubs are so fucking played out it's not even funny.

that's not to say I don't like going out, getting inerbriated and laughing at people.

on june 2nd the recommendations were:
the 3 month trial period from June 28th - Sept 19th only applies to the drinking establishments within downtown Vancouver and Gastown.

anything not downtown will see decreased attendance as there will be a mad influx of traffic downtown as people take advantage of the 4am extensions.

as it stands..
4am - stop serving liquor
5am - kick everyone out of the club
6am - catch the first bus home

edit: forgot to mention that the later closing hours are only ineffect on Friday/Sat/Sun+stat holidays

(edit out) lolololololololololol ok i take ur advise. For all the people that oppose it i understand ur opionion but honestly we are the major city in west can and none of our clubs open later then 2, thats sad, we honestly have no nite life. peace

The whole thing looks like its being set up to fail since there will only be around 8 cops on duty downtown from 2-4, so there are gonna be some huge problems... Also like Narc said, theres gonna be a huge problem with transportation unless everyone can afford a cab.

Anyways, I dont think all clubs will be open till 4 by any means, just the busy ones.
