summer up north

i was on the weather network website (i'm a nerd i know) and i was looking at weather stats around Canada and stuff like that

so in Yellowknife, the sun sets at 11:30pm and rises at 3:30am!!!
only if our summer days were like that!
...well except for the getting to sleep part, but i think it would be well worth it

but to put things in perspective, in the winter, they'd only get 4 hours of light

ya, my bro is going up there to work at a fishing lodge, close to the artic circle. the sun won't dip below the horizon. I'd love to head up to Alaska and the territories one day as well as the Queen Charlote Islands.

The winters there are cold, long and dark, but I heard that seeing the northern lights is off the fucking hook. Survivor on here grew up there, he doens't post much though, cuz he sucks.

even here in vancouver we get long days in summer! I was so disapointed in aus cus i dont think i ever saw the sun stay up past 7-8ish? You can even go way up north in norway and the sun will still be up at 3am.
