24 Hour Bus Service Starting July 4th!

This and 4am clubs at the same time are the making of a very good summer!

WHAT'S HAPPENING?
-TransLink held its monthly meeting today and several key COPE-driven items
were secured by Councillor Fred Bass, Councillor David Cadman and Mayor
Larry Campbell.
-Following three weeks of work aided by Councillor Raymond Louie, the three
COPE directors convinced TransLink to restore late-night bus service in the
city on Fridays and Saturdays, and holiday Sundays.
-Service will be added between 2AM-6AM on four Downtown Vancouver routes
starting July 4 - the West End, East Vancouver and North Burnaby,
Kitsilano/West Broadway/UBC and East Vancouver along Kingsway to Burnaby
and New Westminster.

F*UCK BC Transit, now ill be charged more for bus fare and get nothing out of it!
Funny how I live maybe 15-20 minute drive from down town YET I STILL FEEL LIKE IM FROM AN OTHER COUNTRY OR SOMTHING!?! Yeah cool they have 24 hour bus routes... but only for a couple of routes? So gess your stuck if you ever have to transfer? Of corse they get it fore "west van", but like always forgot about lill deepcove, and the whole north shore :finger:

Maybe ill start investing in swimming lesson's instead of a bloody bus pass?

it doesn't just serve Richmond, it serves every stop along Granville as well!

i was stuck in coq yesterday at 1am and had no ride...cuz the damn 410 at 22nd station's last bus was at 11:53..how gay is that. skytrained all the way to dt and caught a cheap cab. i love bargaining with cabs. =)

good to hear the buses are going to run later...still i dont see any richmond. bliners should run later...sucks ass. i can see myself being dd a lot this summer.

It doesn't help me out all that much, living in Delta like Crazy Dave. But hey, it's a start.
At least there's a NightBus that goes to New West station, and its a lot cheaper to cab home from there than it is from downtown.
