Hi my name is Nicole Mark. I am 13 years old. I have a couple of friends that are addicted to marijuana. I've tried to talk them and get them help, but they do not seem to listen and I don’t no what to do about it. So right now since I’ve tried everything I can think of I was wondering if there was something else that I could do about it?

Yes, tell them that you cannot be involved in their personal destruction and start hanging out with people who don’t do drugs. It may seem cruel, but it will show them how serious you are about their pot smoking – that you are willing to quit hanging out with them rather than watching them self-destruct. Realize too, that they may not change today, but watching their good friend depart may wake them up to what they’re doing.
