yeah i used to do the grouse grind...in high school to train for cross country and long distance, we had to try and run up it and stuff.

i heard from friends that work up at grouse, that they're charging people to go up the grind this year?! they didn't use to a few years ago

I've done it about 5 times and every time I stop and think "Why the hell am I doing this?” It's like walking up stairs for an hour. Except then you have to pay $5 to get back down. But it's you good. Everyone should do it once.

I've done the grouse grind twice now. Its pretty good exercise, and damn its mighty cold at the top.

I think my times were both li ke 50 something minutes. Ain't that great. I heart the record is held by some marathon runner who ran the whole thing without stopping. I can't do that. Fuck not anymore anyways haha

You have to try it, it's insane, the fastest time on it i think is around 25mins. It is pretty fuckin hard to run the whole way, only the pro dudes doing it can run it. Evreyone should do it at least once!

the first half of the grind is the worst.... you're always tempted to just turn around but if you make it past half way its not so bad anymore.

Its great for a work out but Mountain wise u can get a better work out and a much better view elsewhere.
