my grandparents are clebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today.

isnt that fucking crazy?
i've never heard of anyone being married for that long.

My paternal grandparents had been married for about 55, but my gramps passed away in December.

My maternal grandparents are pushing on 50 in the near future (next couple of years I think).

Whoah, thats crazy.. I haven't even been alive for a 3rd of that time yet. Congratulations to them, that is an awesome accomplishment.

I hope, when I get married, that it lasts that long.

that's awesome... i don't know if my parents will be alive for another 30 years to be able to beat that record, but I admire them, as well as many other couples who are able to make it work.

my parents just had their 26th in february..
i hope to see them go past 50, and 60 if they make it =) like yoko, i admire my parents too.. one of the fewer couples i've seen like that. they give me hope =)

My parents just had their 25th this past May. Unfortunately I couldn't be here to celebrate it with them (I was sent away that month to Ontario for work), so I know that their 50th will be amazing to see. For their 25th, my Oma (my mom's mother) is sending them on a cruise to Alaska. What a nice second honeymoon (but they insisted that my Oma go with them. lol).

My Oma and Opa got up to their 65th anniversary before he died a couple years ago.
