500,000 to 800,000 have supposly show up for this huge ass party in Berlin. 250 DJ's spinning at multple stages.

Dj's include:

Tomcraft
Felix Da Housecat
Pete Tong
Roger Sanchez
PVD

i hate trance that they bring down to vancouver, very few good trance dj's that can change a anti-trance guy to a trance guy, for surely i have never heard a live set in vancouver yet

heh i love apex.... except the rain ruined it last year :( I didn't really mind dancing in the rain for the first hour it was raining then after that it got kinda gross

And as for the trance only part, it aitn just trance, they have all kinds of other big room music (since the party is catering for a crowd of almost a million people).

as for the comparison...there is none....apex is just cool...and i would sure rather go and support all of our locals then go across the world to see people that make tonns of money anyhow...

You have to keep in mind Trance and electronica in general rules in Germany. You could probaly have Germany locals spin @ Love Parade and a large amout of amount would still attend.

BC has a pretty kicking scene. Except for maybe Trance. Dnb, Breaks, & House can rival some of the worlds best.

anyone in their right mind would do the same too.. there are better ways to support your "local scene" than to miss out on love parade and attend some local outdoor party with a sketch factor of 10

Paige if you wouldn't take this raving and rave related shit so seriously so fast i wouldn't hate... i mean comon.. i've been going to parties for well over 2 years and im not even as involved as you are.... fuck getting involved... i go to every party with just a couple friends.... dance to some good tunes and then leave when im tired..
