^What's that got to do with it Dale? The fact that the Queen is on the back of our money doesn't have anything to do with British sovereignty...it's not like they have to ask us permission to fire a missile. If anything it's the other way around don't you think? We show it out of respect for her.... not to remind the British that we rule them.
Just my 2cents I guess..... I just don't see the validity of your comment.

well, if you wanna take it that way...
the article was about the brits losing their sovreignty *symbolically* to the united states due to various agreements the two countries have made. obviously britain has yet to actually become the infamous 51st state. then, dude either then misread the article or didn't read it at all, since he made a comment about being half british, as if it were the americans being intruded on. of course, it's the brits that feel they're losing the grip on their powers. this doesn't really matter much, though, since the issue is about a symbolic loss of sovreignty rather that an actual takeover. i made my comment because i found it incredibly ironic that he should make a statement hinting at a loss of sovereignty to england when canada is still not symbolically sovereign itself.

If anything the Americans will invade us because we shelter terrorists or some crap like that (some fake reason much the same as anything else they do). After they bomb the crap out of they could then have free run of our natural resources.
