Fave vancouver clubs?

What are you're favourite nightspots in Vancouver??

Mine would be Atlantis, Sonar, Loft 6 and Plaza club.

As far as the club it's self I'd have to say that I enjoy going to the Commodore or Richards on Richards the most. Sonar's staff are pricks, Atlantis is a bit sketchy... just something about it I can't really put my finger on, I liked it better when it was Wett Bar. The Commodore is the best place in town hands down, it's run very proffesionally, has the great sound and lighting and is just very nice to hang out at. Richards on Richards is my favorite small room as it has 2 levels, lots of bars and a killer sound system. I'd also mention the fact that they tend to have very proffesional staff.

Best clubs back in the day were Graceland, Celebrities, System/Madisons and Amnesias and Mars.

Right now I like the layout of the Caprice and the Commodore and Richards is nice too.

non are very exiting... the rage was almost cool with there "renovations"

but it still smells so bad in there

plaza club is a nice venue but it sucks for everything else...

i always have a kick ass time at the Wild Coyote. and yes Atlantis IS a bit sketchy. MBAR's not that bad either!!

Ya I agree......its like a "CAVE" in there..lol
Still a nice large venue.

My favorite clubs are the Drink and the Commodre

I was at the Drink last friday and HOLY GHETTO..the place was dead too.

Caprice is good but the crowd is usually ridiculous and the bouncers can be dickheads.

Richards is usually full of brown thug wannabee's..but the music is aight.

I like the Loft 6 Saturday crowd...a little more mature and classy and the music is pretty rad.

Atlantis, SHINE, the drink, commodore.

I used to looove 7 alexander. I don't know why though. I think it was just the building itself. It's only fun when it's packed though. otherwise it's lame lame lame.

Never been to a COmmodore event yet but everyone says how awesome it is....one of these days.. Havent' checked out Shine yet but thats cuz my musical tastes are more varied than most of my friends who are strictly into hip hop :(

^^I have been there on Thursday for 80's...SO MUCH FUN!! I have only been there once, but that's the most fun I've had at a club in a long, long time.

omg thursdays at shine are definitely worth checking out...what a great 80s nite....

its funny though cause you see all these people dressed up from the 80s and you know most of them didnt even go out and buy any of their clothes...they still had them sitting in their closest all this time.

i pretty much always have fun at lotus-tuesdays so it's top for fun.

sonar's pretty good for having good acts come out, crappy for sound, and doesn't have drink specials. musically top.

plaza's pretty good for drinks, and that's only cos i get the free drinks. there i can dance because i don't care who's watching.

Commodore, Richards, Plaza, Shiune, Sonar(when it´s fully open) and the Drink(only cuz it has good nights tho). Oh yeah and Lotus is kindy sketchy but I kinda like it (also really really good nights there).

ahh sonar, plaza club and the commodore are my faves.

the plaza club and commordore are the nicest venues, sonar is a bit of the hole but the sound is awesome and i like the layout when the entire club is open.

shine would be nice if it didn't have that cramped subterrian feel.
