double dutch and skipping ropes
just flew across my mind.... i miss it! haven't played double dutch since elementry school....i was a pro! hmmmmm...all those skipping rope games..and always attempting to pull a triple skip. good ol times....skipping ropes are fun.
oh man this gets me thinkin about other "reccess" games... SQUARE BALL?!?!! wow.. hopscotch...wow......a playground?! wow.... what else was there?... running around the feild looking for a 4 leaf clovers?! WOW! im in a good mood..let me be!

haha..the dancing cow!!..
i could never do double dutch..i kept getting hit by the ropes.. do u remember that rope game where u had to connect like a million rubber bands and say 2, 4, 6, 8, in, out ON!..and then it keeps getting higher? how about high jump?..i broke my ankle playing that~.. i miss skipping rope..it was so simple but entertaining..do kids still skip rope?

YEAAA the rubberband game was fun! i dont really remember it though..
any of you kids join jump rope for hearts?! i would skip forever and everrrrrrr to prep myself up for the event...and i got skipping ropes as prizes..ooohz that was fun. skipping is fun.. dont know if my heart can handle it anymore though. im getting old. kids BETTER still be skipping rope.

^^ i did that jump rope for hearts thing before. got a free skipping rope. it's green. hahaha i think i still have it actually!! :P
i have skipped in a long time. we did some of it at elementary school, but not alot since most of the area was like gravely and hard to skip on. still fun. haha what's this chinese skipping thing? (with the rubber bands), it sounds soooo familiar but i can't remember it?

i think its the game where you can tie 2 skipping ropes together o relaly large rubberband... you ppl puts it around their knees/calves..to make 2 strings and i think you jump around it and do patterns or something.
skipping was sweek..the double/triple skips and the cross overs...oh fun.

My little sister was in a skipping team at her elementary school. She still helps coach them once in a while (she just gradded hs this year). I remember going to the nationals with her many many times. She did and still does amazing stuff with those ropes.
Kenny...which school did you go to? was it sandy hill in abby? I think that's the school's name.
