Shot's fired at rave in Surrey!
Yo i was chillin with my Buddy andrew last week talking about the old days when the scene was still good and he reminded me of something that happened at a party he threw in surry in like April of 2000. See then there use to be a party every friday at minnesota's billiards in newton called static. It was dope the place was packed every friday. Anyways after a few months of static it changed to bounce cause of disagreements the promoter's had or something. So they changed the name of the party to Bounce, and on the first night of bounce a car drove by and fired a few shot's at the party. Nobody was hurt though they were just trying to fuck over the other company.
So imagine being at a party all high and shit haveing a good time and all of a sudden shot's are fired and there's a huge commotion. It was crazy. Not much longer after raves were made illegal in Surrey. Was anybody else there, or does anyone else remember this happening?????? Peace.

ya i remember hearing about that.
there was a party i went to once in aldergrove i think it was... in some church or hall of somekind... anyways we were in the basement and it had kinda turned into a a big grad party and there was a lot of alcohol consumption..a lot of glass bottles then the guy that did a drive by at my highschool just a couple years prior stopped in and started a fight with some guys there, they all broke beer bottles and started jabbing them at whoever, someone pulled out a knife...ya we ran outta there pretty fast... not fun man.

i was at minnesota's that night... me and my buddy were around the corner by the gym getting hammered, and shit hit the fan... pretty scary shit. a couple of guys i knew were waiting in line when it happened. they were shitting their pants for a week after that...
but it wasn't as scary as the night at static when some monkey ripped the sink off the bathroom wall, and the promoter went fucking apeshit on a couple of us cuz we were just standing in the wrong place at the wrong time... but whatever... that kinda shit happens everywhere...

I live pretty close to M's (my fave pool hall), and yeah, I remember that.
I also remember thinking "Meh, good riddance. No more suburban shit raves for the morons I went to high school with."

i remember that shit...........all the dum ass party kids ran up to the bullet holes to check em out right after they took off. What a bunch of dum asses.

^^You're on crack. Minnesota's has always been open, and fire free.
I was in the area one night when a pool supply place cought fire and they cordoned the area off due to possible toxic fumes, but that's the extent of fire around there.
