where to buy cheap skate shoes?

Where's the best (aka cheapest) place to buy skater style shoes in the lower mainland? (i don't skate, i just like the shoes)

Looking for a place that sells Circa, DC, Etnies, DVS etc..

Not in the Lower Mainland...but if you have proper ID/a passport, hop over to the states and buy it there. I just got myself new Etnies for a pretty good price at PacSun.

if you want cheap AND nice shoes, you gotta wait for the sales (they're pretty much the same price at every store until they go on sale)
if you got a credit card and you know what you want, try ebay

not sure if you know what you want, but dc's are pretty but pieces of crap; osiris and circa are comfy and sometimes pretty; etnies, vans, globe aren't that great, they're licking ass like airwalk and sketchers
but that's just what i think...and i don't skate

try 4th, they got westbeach and boardroom which normaly has some shoes on sale
comor and west 49 might have something on sale, but they don't got much selection
futuristic flavor had some nice shoes, but i think they're gone now

That's strange because my bf and I have found that his DC's have been the BEST quality/made shoes we've bought, whereas the Osiris's he bought for $180 were uncomfortable and fell apart in a few months. I dunno...maybe circumstantial?

I don't know...I have a pair of Vans TnT's and they're COMFY like crazy(AND they're black and pink!)! My Emerica's are pretty comfy too.

Replay normally has some good deals (when the sales are on).

But anywhere in Van will have some good deals when there are sales too. so I dunno.

yah most of my friends DC's have always fallen appart. I think it depends on who wears them though if you dont skate they are awsome shoes. I have a pair that has lasted me a year and a half so far and they are still in great shape they are the most comfortable pair of shoes i have ever owned and they are still mint and i walked everywhere in them when i went to europe. but i would love to get another pair soon. probably same make though just diff colours. I'm willing to shell out 160 for a pair of shoes like the ones i have.
