Remembering Aaliyah

It's already been two years since Aaliyah died in the Bahamas plane crash. She was such a beautiful and talented singer and dancer who was an inspiration to many. What a tragic loss. :soak:

i'll alway remember this cuz its the day before my birthday. it was such a tragic loss.

I loved Aaliyah from the very first day I heard of her back in Grade 7. She was so great and was on the way to being more then what she was...she will always be remembered.

i remember hearing about her death on the ride home from summerlove 01. sooo tragic....she's so hot too. hot ppl who can sing shouldn't die so young at age! =(

i remember walkin by the hip-hop stage at summer love that year and some random rapper took it upon himself to announce that Aaliyah had died. not exactly whut i wanted to hear while high as kite and having an awsome night. thanks a lot for the inappropriate announcement mr. random rapper guy, way to fuck with my high.

Yeah - I hate how death is so inconvient like that - good thing no one at the party actually died - cause then you might have had to go home and that would have seriously fucked with your high

- I was just waking up at a motel in Oregon when I heard the news about Aaliyah - we were on our way to Burning Man to celebrate life - she was born the same year as me - anytime i hear of someone passing who is my age - it hits home for sure

it is so strange when someone famous like that dies - cause you can still go to the movie store and rent something with them in it - you can still turn on the stereo and pop in a cd
